JOB ROLE: Chef
JOB TYPE: Full-time, permanent
SALARY: £26,000.00 – £32,000.00 per year
We are a unique eatery located in the unspoilt Cotswold village of Blockley. A Café only by name, we aim to exceed expectations and never let our small size hold us back. We are chef-led with an ambitious team who cook seasonally, using the best ingredients from local suppliers, and recipes used in Michelin kitchens.

As a chef you will be a positive and motivational influence in the kitchen, striving for excellence every day and helping us build on what we do. You will bring bucketloads of infectious energy and passion that inspire the rest of the team to achieve first rate results in the fast-paced and ever-changing atmosphere of the Café.
We are open 7 days a week, all year round. Serving dinner on four of those days. Your days will consist of straight shifts but your ability to be flexible is vital.
Execute all dishes on the menu as per our specification
Deliver daily mise en place requirements
Keep an eye on stock levels, to create new working lists
Learn about ingredients and our amazing producers
Pro-actively assist colleagues and work towards a common goal of exceeding customer expectations
Serve the best, freshest food within time frames
Ensure your section is set for the next day, leaving it well-maintained
Share your knowledge and passion with the whole team
Develop and maintain standards with an eye for detail across the whole kitchen operation, including food hygiene
Manage stock levels, rotation and looking after our great ingredients
